Coming soon: Tuesdays with Jay No. 26: More, More

Seasoned oak firewood just waiting for its chance to heat the house

It’s 81 degrees out, but you know winter is coming when the firewood is waiting to be stacked near the house.

Fall is finally here! It’s my favorite season, even though I couldn’t get Jay to help me stack the firewood. He apparently had more important things to do with Henry and Alice.

Okay, yes, their plans were probably more fun than stacking a cord of wood. I’d guess the exertion level was about the same, though.

Fall is also the season of my annual writing retreat. Henry, Alice, and Jay were very productive, giving me 8,000 words in one weekend. If only every weekend could be a writing retreat. Retirement goal. 😉

Before I get sidetracked babbling about stories in various stages of editing, let me get to the point: This month’s installment of Tuesdays with Jay is No. 26: More, More. Fitting its title, More, More a quadruple-length tale. Jay just couldn’t hold back—and Henry’s in for a surprising, difficult, emotional talk with his lover.

More, More is set the day before the big snowstorm in Chapter 4 of Crossing the Lines (Neighborly Affection #2). It will arrive in newsletter subscribers’ inboxes on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

To enjoy all of the Tuesdays with Jay companion stories in the series, make sure you’re signed up for the quarterly newsletter. Jay will see you again in January, with a triple-length story!

Yeah, I know. I’m reeeally bad with sticking to word-count limits. It’s Jay. He’s the chatterbox!
