Coming soon: Tuesdays with Jay No. 25: Hazards No More

by | Jul 13, 2018 | Neighborly Affection series, Writing

Mmmm, pie. The perfect companion for a romance novel.

It’s a bourbon-cherry-blueberry pie. I sneaked a slice before Jay got his hands on it.

It’s been hotter than Hades this summer, so I’ve been thrilled to spend time inside writing rather than outside doing yard work.

Of course, I promptly ruined the air-conditioned climate inside by turning on the oven to bake a pie. I’m fairly certain Henry would have approved, though. (Jay would have devoured half of it on sight.)

But between bouts of pie-making, I managed to sit down and write a few Tuesdays with Jay stories. This month’s installment, Tuesdays with Jay No. 25: Hazards No More, is a double-length journey through Jay’s insecurities as he waits for Alice to arrive for their weekly lunch.

Hazards No More is set between the third and fourth chapters of Crossing the Lines (Neighborly Affection #2). It will arrive in newsletter subscribers’ inboxes on Tuesday, July 17.

To enjoy all of the Tuesdays with Jay companion stories in the series, make sure you’re signed up for the quarterly newsletter. Jay will see you again in October, with a quadruple-length story!
