Henry: “I won’t touch him when his need is so raw and untrained.”

Nothing brings on the jitters like a book birthday.

Writing a book is an amazing experience; my biggest concern during the writing phase is making sure I stay true to the characters. Every book I write is the best effort I can put forth to share the truth of these characters and their lives. But on book release day, the biggest question is whether those characters will resonate with readers. Will you love them, too?

So today, as Becoming His Master (Neighborly Affection #4) goes live on all digital platforms, I have a few hopes for Henry and Jay’s love story.

For those of you who have followed the Neighborly Affection series and have been waiting for this book, I hope Becoming His Master exceeds expectations. I hope Henry’s more reserved voice becomes as familiar and well-loved as Alice’s analytical bluntness and Jay’s sweet vulnerability.

For those of you who are starting the series with Becoming His Master, I hope Henry and Jay make it a memorable first time. 😉

If reading Becoming His Master does create a space in your heart for Henry and Jay, I hope you’ll consider leaving a review online or recommending the book to a friend.

And if you still need to snag your copy, here’s where to find it:

No matter which book you’re cracking open today: Happy reading!
