Hang out with M.Q. Barber at a book event Saturday

by | Feb 5, 2024 | Neighborly Affection series, Where Am I

If you’ve ever wanted to hang out with M.Q. Barber and talk books and whatnot, now’s the time!

An ice age has passed since the last time I was at an in-person event, I know. But if you’re anywhere near central Pennsylvania, I would love to see you Saturday at the 2024 Love is in the Air author event!

The fun goes from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Ashcombe Farm and Greenhouses, 906 W. Grantham Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

This is a low-key event with about a dozen romance authors at a greenhouse that also sells baked goods and snacks and has a cafe. OMG, I’m going to eat the afternoon away. Also, there are four greenhouse cats that may be roaming free! (I am allergic to cats, but I still adore them.)

I’ll bring signed first-edition paperbacks with the original covers. And I’ll have promo codes for a free digital download of Playing the Game! Maybe you have friends you’re trying to entice into starting the series? 😻

We can hang out and chitchat, and I can answer questions about:

  • what’s next for the Neighborly Affection universe;
  • how exciting and nerve-wracking it is to be sharing unedited chapters of Season of Gifts: Neighborly Affection Book 8 on Ream as I write them;
  • what it’s like to have a cast of characters in my head who constantly have just one more small thing to add. Did I mention that Season of Gifts has ballooned with at least six more chapters that the trio decided were must-have? 😉

If you have books you want signed, please bring them along! I’m happy to sign books and take photos with folks who love Henry, Alice, and Jay as much as I do. 💖

A romantic silhouette of a couple embracing near a tree serves as a background for the time, date, and address of the Love is in the Air event included in the post above.
