Cast your vote in the menage fans’ choice awards

It’s awards season! Forget the red carpet walks and the boring speeches and the jokes that miss more often than they land.

The awards I’m talking about are the 2014 Menage Romance Fan Awards at Mary’s Menage Whispers, a comprehensive book review site focused on — wait for it — menage romance. Mary is a tour de force in the genre, posting spoiler-free reviews of the books she devours faster than a whirlwind and focusing on the human elements that make the stories feel real.

MMW-2014AwardsVoting is open through Saturday, Feb. 8, and the Neighborly Affection series was lucky enough to make it through the nomination round and into the voting round for three categories:

Playing the Game is nominated in the best BDSM menage romance and best menage with bisexual characters categories.

Three-Way Tie is nominated in the best short story category.

I admit, I don’t expect Henry, Jay, and Alice to come home with a trophy — the awards nominees include a lot of very popular and deserving books and authors. But if you read menage romance, please pop over to the ballot box and vote for your favorites. It’s the biggest thrill in the world for an author to know her characters are loved.
